About Our Privacy Policy

Dream and Perform cares greatly about your privacy. We only process data that we need to (improve) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the Dream and Perform website and the services accessible via it. The effective date for these terms is 06/13/2024. With the publication of a new version, all previous versions become void. This privacy policy describes what data we collect about you, how we use it, and under what circumstances and with whom we may share it. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect it from misuse, and your rights regarding the personal data you provide to us.

E-commerce Software

MyOnlineStore

Our online store is built with MyOnlineStore software. Personal data you share with us for our services is shared with this party. MyOnlineStore has access to your data to provide technical support but will never use your data for other purposes. Based on our agreement, MyOnlineStore is obligated to take appropriate security measures. MyOnlineStore uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your software use, but no personal data is collected or stored.

Web Hosting

We use Shopify for web hosting and email services. Shopify processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. Shopify may collect metadata on the service's usage, but these are not personal data. Shopify has implemented suitable technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss or unauthorized use of your personal data and is legally bound to confidentiality.

Gmail

We use Gmail for our regular business email traffic. This provider has implemented technical and organizational measures to minimize misuse, loss, and corruption of your data. Gmail does not access our mailbox, and we handle all email communication confidentially.

Payment Processors

Shopify Payments

To handle some of the payments in our online store, we use Shopify Payments. Shopify Payments processes your name, address, location, and payment details, such as bank or credit card numbers. Shopify Payments has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Shopify Payments reserves the right to use your data to improve its services and may share (anonymized) data with third parties. For deferred payment requests, Shopify Payments shares personal data and financial information with credit assessors. All data protection measures mentioned above also apply to any third-party services Shopify Payments engages. Shopify Payments does not retain your data longer than legally allowed.

Reviews

We collect reviews via Shopify’s platform. When you leave a review, you must provide your name and email address. Shopify shares this information with us so we can link your review to your order. In some cases, Shopify may contact you to clarify your review. When we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and email with Shopify, who uses this data only to invite you for a review. Shopify has implemented appropriate measures to protect your data and may use third parties for this service with our permission.

Shipping and Logistics

PostNL

When you place an order, we are responsible for delivering your package. We use PostNL for deliveries and share your name, address, and location with PostNL. If PostNL engages subcontractors, your data may also be shared with those parties.

DHL

When you place an order, we are responsible for delivering your package. We use DHL for deliveries and share your name, address, and location with DHL. If DHL engages subcontractors, your data may also be shared with those parties.

Purpose of Data Processing

We use your data exclusively for our services, meaning the data processing purpose is always directly related to the task you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If we use your data for reasons beyond your request, we will explicitly ask for your permission. Your data is not shared with third parties, except to comply with accounting or administrative obligations. These third parties are bound to confidentiality under agreements with us, an oath, or a legal obligation.

Automatically Collected Data

Automatically collected data (e.g., your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is processed to improve our services. These are not personal data.

Compliance with Legal Obligations

In specific situations, Dream and Perform may be required by law to share your data for tax or criminal investigations by authorities. In such cases, we are obligated to share your data, but we will object where legally possible.

Retention Periods

We keep your data as long as you are a client. This means that we keep your profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us, we will treat it as a request for deletion. We also retain data for up to two years after the last contact or transaction, unless there is a legal reason to keep it. In accordance with applicable legal obligations, we retain invoices with your (personal) data. However, staff will no longer have access to your profile or any documents created in response to your request.

Your Rights

Under Dutch and European law, you have certain rights regarding your personal data processed by us. We explain below what these rights are and how you can exercise them. To prevent misuse, we send copies of your data only to the email address you already provided. If you want to receive the data at a different address, we may ask you to verify your identity. We keep a record of completed requests, and for deletion requests, we anonymize data. You will receive data copies in machine-readable format. You can always file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you suspect we misuse your data.
